Self serve breakfast B&B. walk everywhere. Daily trips to launch. Cheap taco dinners at the nearby market & restauraants or cook your own / arrange shared common meals in the house kitchen.
Local launch owner Daniel Pedraza drives up daily to nearby private launch at La Malinché 20 minutes away. tandems available too. Choose from several other nearby sites. Bistro and El Picacho are two in nearby Malinolco valley, which is also easily XC-able from la Malinché launch.
I have been coming here for the last several years, sometimes twice a year and am familiar with both the flying and thelocal colour. There is a nearby central market and the Mexcian version of a walmart for more particular purchases.
Tenancingo is a vibrant colourful town of 100,000.
It is a relatively safe and also off the beaten track. The locals are friendly and helpful in all of my experiences there and the flying is amazing & inspiring. Almost daily evening glassoffs and easy nearby xc routes.
